Jonathan will be rejoining with Simon Henwood (a london based artist and creative director) to design the upcoming Rihanna Madhouse world tour. Jonathan will also be working with Jamie King (show director for Madonna, Spice Girls, Britney Spears) for the first time.

“I am really looking forward to getting into rehearsals and working with some amazingly talented people.”

Fashion Week NYC - COMPLETE!

NYC Fashion week was quite the trying experience this year. SLV Inc was able to assist as usual the master of light and set Thierry Dreyfus on all of his shows as well as light our own shows and production manage some more shows ! SVA Class a success!

Two nights ago i guest spoke at Susan Linss’s Production Design Course @ the School of Visual Arts, the class was very receptive to understanding production from a lighting designers perspective. I was able to walk them through some of my experiences with different artists and television events , explain in detail the importance of a cohesive team from art department to lighting and on. Thanks to Susan and the class ! Look forward to coming back again!

Ferry Corsten in NYC

Thanks to made events Mike Bindra and Laura DePalma for executing such an interesting and diverse design for world renowned DJ Ferry Corsten. The concept was limited by time, budget and a massive snow storm in NYC but in the end some amazing imagery was able to be brought to a crowd of visually hungry house and trance music fans. Next month I will be guest speaking at the School of Visual Arts for there Real World Production Design course , Taught by a good friend and colleague Susan Linss. Susan has worked with me on Rihanna, Kanye West, and A Runway show for the line GHITA by Alexis Pfeiffer. Susan and I share the same creative vision on dynamics and modern spins. She is also a very well known interior designer and has curated many different projects for celebritys and other well known personas. Susan’s work has been featured in Music Videos and Film along with working with some of the best directors and producers in the industry such as Hype Williams.
 I am scheduled to speak on Feb 23rd check back for a recap once our class is done.

NEWS FLASH- KID CUDI off Lady Gaga Tour

Official News from SLV:

Kid Cudi is no longer involved with the Lady GaGa Fame Monster Tour. SLV Still holds a great relationship with the artist and is pleased to continue working with him throughout this new year.

The design that was done for Kid Cudi was quite amazing, yet only seen in toronto canada the design was sent back into the creative depths... See some photos and video below of what should have been a US tour.
